About MUCAC Málaga (former CAC Málaga)
The Centro de Arte Contemporáneo that opened in the 1940s wholesale market building in Soho in 2003 closed in September 2024 and is being relaunched under municipal management as MUCAC, with two venues. The La Coracha galleries on Paseo de Reding (Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 to 20:00, free entry) opened in 2025 and show the city's modern and contemporary holdings; the Mayoristas building on Calle Alemania is still listed as temporarily closed after a repair contract was awarded in December 2025, with no reopening date announced as of October 2026. The Obey and D*Face murals on its doorstep are worth the walk regardless.
