Soho Málaga Street Art

Between the Alameda and the port, the once-faded Ensanche Heredia was rebranded Soho in 2013 through the MAUS project (Málaga Arte Urbano Soho), which invited Shepard Fairey (Obey), D*Face, Roa, Boa Mistura and others to paint entire facades. The anchor pieces are the ten-story Peace and Liberty and fighter-pilot murals facing each other on Calle Casas de Campos, near the MuCAC Mayoristas building, and dozens of smaller works on shutters and side streets. It is a free self-guided walk of about an hour, best in daylight, with good independent cafes along Calle Tomás Heredia.
