Playa de Maro

Maro is a small beach of coarse sand and pebbles at the foot of cliffs and terraced farmland, with water clear enough for snorkeling straight off the shore. It sits inside the protected Maro-Cerro Gordo coastline a few kilometers east of Nerja, below the village of Maro. There is a kiosk, a beach bar, showers and sunbed hire in season; parking above the beach is limited, so arrive early in summer. Blue Flag in 2026.
