Mirador del Juanar (Mirador del Macho Montes)

The best-known viewpoint above Marbella sits on the southern rim of the Juanar valley: from the parking area just before the Refugio de Juanar, a signposted forest track and path lead about 1.5 km through olive groves and pine to a stone platform where the Sierra Blanca falls away to Marbella, Puerto Banús and the Mediterranean, with Gibraltar and the Rif mountains on clear days. The round trip takes under an hour, which makes it the easy alternative to the La Concha climb; the same network continues to the Cruz de Juanar and the Mirador del Corzo.
