Centre Pompidou Málaga

Opened in 2015 in a purpose-built space beneath Daniel Buren's striped glass cube at Muelle Uno, the Pompidou shows a rotating selection from the Paris collection, with 20th-century names such as Bacon, Magritte and Frida Kahlo appearing in changing semi-permanent hangs, plus temporary shows. It is compact, 60 to 90 minutes is enough, and works well with lunch on the pier afterward. Open 09:30 to 20:00 every day except Tuesday; general admission is €9 and it is free on Sunday afternoons from 16:00.
