Marbella Club Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa

Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe opened the Marbella Club in 1954 as a 20-room extension of his own finca, and it set the template for Marbella: single-story bungalows and villas scattered through ten acres of subtropical garden between the boulevard and the sea. Today it has around 130 rooms, suites and villas, a thalasso spa, several restaurants, a beach club, riding stables and its own golf course in the Benahavís hills. It is quieter and more old-world than its neighbor Puente Romano, and it is where long-stay guests tend to settle.
