Bioparc Fuengirola

Bioparc Fuengirola replaced the old town zoo with a 'zoo-immersion' design in which visitors walk through recreated habitats of Equatorial Africa, Madagascar, Southeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific with no visible barriers; highlights include Komodo dragons, Sumatran tigers, lemurs, pygmy hippos and a lush rainforest canopy. It opens at 10:00 every day of the year, closing between 18:00 and 20:00 depending on the month, with summer evening openings. Adult tickets are around 29.50 euros; it is a five-minute walk from the Los Boliches train station.
