Gran Feria Sabor a Málaga (provincial food fair)

The provincial government's Sabor a Málaga brand gathers more than a hundred producers under tents along the Paseo del Parque each December: Málaga DO sweet wines and the new dry whites, mountain goat cheeses, extra-virgin olive oil from the Antequera plain, Axarquía avocados and mangos, cured meats, honey and the salted anchovies the city is known for. There are tastings, cooking demonstrations and a ham-carving contest, and it coincides with the Christmas lights a few streets away. Entry is free; bring a bag, because this is the easiest place on the coast to buy direct from small producers. Málaga holds the title of European Capital of Gastronomic Culture for 2026-2027, so expect an expanded program.
