About Playa de La Cala de Mijas
La Cala's beach runs for almost 2 km in front of the village, about 35 m deep and facing south and southwest so it catches the sun all day. A short promenade with restaurants, parking behind the beach, summer lifeguards, accessible access and watersports rentals in high season make it one of the most complete beaches on the Mijas coast. The 16th-century Torre de La Cala stands on the seafront. Blue Flag in 2026.
