About this event

MIFF is a small independent festival that has run since 2006 and now uses the METT resort between Marbella and Estepona as its base. The program combines a competition of features, documentaries and shorts with a pitching forum for writers and producers, panels on financing and AI in production, and evening networking. Screening tickets cost €10 per film or €45 for a pass covering all official screenings from 7 to 11 October; industry sessions are priced separately. It is a working festival rather than a glamorous one, which makes it approachable for visitors who want to meet filmmakers. Book the pass online in advance, as seating is limited.
