Playa de Venus

A compact 400 m stretch of sand about 50 m deep, wedged between the Puerto Deportivo and the Represa riverbed, five minutes on foot from Plaza de los Naranjos. It is a family beach with play areas, showers, restrooms, sunbed hire and lifeguards in summer, and it gets busy. Parking is scarce; walk from town. Currents can be strong outside the main season.
