About Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga
Baroness Carmen Thyssen's collection of about 230 works, strongest in costumbrista scenes of Andalusian life by Sorolla, Zuloaga and the Madrazo family, hangs in the Palacio de Villalón just off Calle Larios, with Roman remains visible in the basement. It is the most relaxing of the central museums and takes about 90 minutes including the temporary exhibition. Open Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 to 20:00 and closed Mondays; general admission is €12.
