Ojén lies 10 km north of Marbella in a fold of Sierra Blanca, a compact village of steep lanes once known for its anise liqueur. The MA-5300 mountain road climbs from here to the Refugio de Juanar, where the hikes to the Juanar viewpoint and La Concha begin.
